Erin Wade (author)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopediaErin Leigh Wade (May 9, 1987) is an American lesbian fiction author. With international #1 best sellers on Amazon in action/adventure/romance, she has released thirty-four #1 bestselling lesbian novels and thirty-four #1 bestselling audios since 2017.[1] Wade’s work spans several genres, from action and adventure to mystery and thriller. This genre diversification is essential in broadening the scope of lesbian fiction and appealing to a wider audience.[8][9] While romance is a component of her stories, it is often secondary to the main plot.[10]
Early life and education
Wade was born in Memphis, Texas. In high school and college, she played with a five-piece all-girl band. After completing a bachelor’s in accounting at the University of Texas at Austin, she planned to work for a major accounting firm and live a comfortable life but soon discovered that she liked taking chances and started acquiring small parcels of land to resale. Within a year, Wade developed an interest in land brokering in Texas. Her wife encouraged her to begin writing and she is now a full-time author.[2][3]
Career
Wade’s first books were murder mysteries written for mainstream readers. She published her first book in 2014. In 2016, she began writing The Destiny Factor, a murder mystery, which assumed a path of its own and transformed into a lesbian romance/thriller. Wade had never thought about writing lesfic, but she started enjoying writing about what she knew and had experienced, gradually morphing into a lesfic author.[3][4]
On January 25, 2017, Wade released her first intentional lesfic novel, Too Strong to Die, which shot to number ten the same day and reached number one on Feb. 1. On May 9, 2017, she released Death Was Too Easy, which reached to #1 in Hot New Releases.[3][4]
